Community Linking & Learning Session: The Digital Age Amidst a Pandemic: Defending Rights of the Vulnerable

The bi-monthly L&L sessions aim to boost and further intercommunity (CoP) sharing as they embark on a journey of scaling out as consortiums as well as boosting collaboration, innovation, learning, and application of new knowledge. They will be led by the various CoPs in the coming months.

This week’s session will be led by the ICT 4 Advocacy CoP and will focus on “The Digital Age Amidst a Pandemic: Defending Rights of the Vulnerable”.

This session will feature CoP members that will tackle;

  • Community Organizing & Mobilization in the Covid-19 Pandemic by Brian Geoffrey Chanwatt from Strategic Response International.
  • Gender-inclusive technology initiatives to address the dividing gap (The challenges and opportunities) by Aidah Bukubuza from AYDIA Gender and Technology Initiative
  • COP Strategy and programs implementation by Gole Andrew from Encrypt Uganda
  • Challenges and Experiences Learned from CoP Activity Implementation by Leonard Ongom from Northern Initiative for Community Empowerment

Please join the CoP of ICT 4 Advocacy and the whole DHRL community this Friday 23rd July 2021 from 2- 4 PM as we share practical experiences and lessons from all the activities that have since been carried out in the previous 6- 8 months.
