In Uganda compliance with the Data Protection and Privacy Act is still slow and in most cases abused because there is no effective monitoring, and auditing done. The average performance score of all the 32 sectors that were assessed in Uganda is 35%. A clear indication that most organizations are struggling with Data Protection compliance.
